Latin Name: Ginkgo Biloba
There has been extensive research conducte in Europe using concentrated extracts of the flavonoids in this herb. Ginkgo is best used as a standardized extract. It is commonly used to enhance memory and brain function. It improves blood flow to the brain and acts as an antioxidant to protet brain cells from damage. It can also improve peripheral circulation and may be beneficial in diabetic retinopathy, tinnitus, vertigo, and dizziness. Best results are obtained when the herb is used consistently for 2-3 months. Ginkgo may also be an excellent remedy to take to slow the aging process and protect and the nervous and cardiovascular systems.
